Using the proper technique and practicing WL, you can intensify your athletic preparation for all sports and boost your explosive strength, in order to improve your movements and increase your Fitness and Wellness level.

The two fundamentals in weightlifting are:

The "Snatch"

Athletes must lift the barbell over their head in one seamless movement.

The “Clean & Jerk”

The movement involves the first phase of clean, in which the athletes lift the bar from the floor to the shoulders, and then one of "push" (jerk), in which the athletes lift the weight above the head.

Clean & Jerk phases

  • Dip and drive

Mastery of Lifting: Technique, Safety, and Performance in Weightlifting​

In both cases, for a correct lifting, athletes must hold the barbell firmly above the head, with arms and legs extended and without bending movements.

Weightlifting movements require good mobility, speed and strength.

These lifts are very technical and every detail is important to ensure that the lift is safe, efficient and effective.
